1 Hour!

Amazing! I was16/17 when I tried making flash. Now I make about 20 hours of flash which only equals about 20 seconds run-time then I never work on it again. Thanks to this inspiring and delightfully funny piece, perhaps I will try to finish something someday. Keep it up!

I don't know you,

but I could see this being a slightly exaggerated true story from you. Haha nice.

PIED3 responds:

Ha ha, those damn birds!

Nice

A lighter follw-up to last years "A Darkness in April," which is still my favorite of any Pico Day. Great style, as soon as I saw how Pico was drawn up I knew it was your handy work. Now I have to go watch ADARKNESSINAPRIL again. Well done.

^-^

Tom's what, in his thirties now? I highly doubt he would have the strength or stamina to keep up with all this action let alone stop a giant 1-ton robot fist. So unrealistic.

Just kidding, great animation. The style is supurb as well as the attention to detail and just overall flow. Amazing that you pulled this off in 20 days. Job well done!

Pegosho responds:

haha, the Tom of my animation was a kid Tom. I even thought in making Tom as a school teacher that saved the kids but i didn't liked him with a beard. Kind of made him look like a hobo. :P

The style i used was what made me pull this off in 20 days. Thanks Five3 for your review. :)

Well done!

Funny how you can tell most NG users age by their comments. It's also funny how most people equate an innovative, creative, and unique piece like this as a product of drugs. A lot of things are funny, I like laughing. As for 'Frog Machine' well done in all artistic aspects.

Pretty Sweet

Creative, nice to put some smooshed faces to the names & work on NG. This could be the official demographic/census for NG: 99.8% MALE .2% FEMALE +/- .2% error. Nice work!

AlmightyHans responds:

maybe girls are just more self concious and wouldn't want to show their faces spread over a scanner.

Wow!

Tough crowd. Quality animation, good sound quality, average/weak conclusion. If this was intended as serious, as I don't know you (nathanielmilburn) in-person (so I can't tell), it could have been stronger. Overall, good effort & perhaps it won't fall completely on deaf ears.

Some food for thought if anyones interested (as I'm sure they're not, which is why they're on NG sharing hateful opinions, rather than reviews.):

Well Done.

Fluid animation, I enjoyed the style and overall composition (music, story flow, etc). I was not aware that drilling for oil had a direct corelation to causing tsunamis, glacier deterioration, or hurricanes. Perhaps that's something to look in to. Nice piece overall.

The 13 year old demographic...

Strikes again. Young boys insecure in their sexuality rating this poorly, it's almost as funny as the actual animation. Nice work as usual Pavel, looking forward to Geoffrey's Quest II & more more BOOP!

JunkYardAnimations responds:

for sure bud! keep lookin out for my name and cartoons in the portal :)

Very Genndy...

I loved it. The work you put into this piece is well worth it. I enjoyed everything from the sound/music to the style and just the overall theme, reminds me of Genndy Tartakovsky/Samurai Jack. Great work, great piece!

They let us down and we continue to let them.
